Birthday Wishes and ACEO's

First of all I wanted to send out a little request :) My birthday is this Saturday. I actually almost forgot about it, so I don't really have any plans. What would really make my day would be to get Night's Vision's *Likes* on my facebook page up over 200. If you could do this for me, or share it around that would be awesome! http://facebook.com/nightsvision   There is also a little like button over there on the right sidebar.
ACEO's have been the theme of the new year around these parts! I love the small format and the fact that I can actually get something finished without sitting so long my back starts to get silly! I listed a few of them on Etsy this week. Check them out.

I have several more that haven't been listed yet. Maybe when I get back from my trip to Arizona next week. You can see most of them here.

I hope everyone has had a great first month of the new year!

They fill the void, and I like it.

I am having so much fun making Treasuries on Etsy these days, though I must say I would prefer to have room to be working on my own stuff. In the meantime these certainly feel like works of art in their own right at times. Here are a few recent ones I curated for you to puruse. I hope you enjoy them! Comments and sharing are always appreciated.

STATTEAM PIF #6 (Pay it forward)
The first piece really summed up how I feel about my mom

Are these Russian dolls not fantastic?

STATTEAM Challenge. I kept my own man in mind making this one.

My absolute favorite Etsy Dark Team

Hannya Inside by Tina Lynn Ellis, or Art Dolls are my first love

I haven't gotten much done lately, but I just did one small thing that makes me feel totally accomplished! I took pictures of my doll Hannya Inside. I had just put the finishing touches on her when my disc herniation started pressing on the nerve way back in August. So all these months I've just been staring at her. I have not been strong enough to hold the camera or to bend over in any crazy ways to get the pictures. I did it today. I am not sure if or when I am going to be listing her on Etsy , but if you have any questions you can email me at nightsvision at aol dot com. I'm not sure if these are THE pictures yet, but I am happy how they came out for now. I'll stop babbling now and show them to you. There are more on the Night's Vision facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/nightsvision .

Sale

Hi everyone,

I thought I would have a short little after Christmas/New Year's sale at Night's Vision. Head on over to http://nightsvision.etsy.com/ and use the code SAVE15 for 15% off any item in the shop from now through January 1st. Please share if you know someone who could benefit from this.

I hope everyone had Happy Holidays and that you all have some great plans for New Year's Eve. It will be a quiet one around here. Christmas was too. Sadly the Friday before Christmas my beautiful Aunt whom I've mentioned here several times had a massive stroke that she was unable to recover from. She passed at a hospice facility several days later. I was unable to be there. I will miss her greatly she has always been a source of creative inspiration for me and I haven't quite gotten all my thoughts in order about it yet. Keep your loved ones close and remember how precious each moment is.

<3 and best wishes for the coming year!

Recently Curated Treasuries

I've found that one of my favorite pass times these days is making Treasuries on Etsy. I love helping to promote other artists, AND I feel like i've gone shopping without spending a cent. Here are some recent ones featuring members of several different Etsy teams Night's Vision belongs to.

Treasuries I've Recently Been Featured In

I am so stoked by all the great Treasuries I've been included in on Etsy lately. Every Once in a while I want to make a post and share these with you.

More to come, along with Treasuries I've recently made.

New Dollies

I listed the three new dolls I was talking about the other day. They are soft dolls with painted faces rather than sculpted, but they still have the fabulous fiber hair of my other dolls this size. Taking photos is superfrustrating on these winter days when the sun is either only around for a very short time or not all. Not only that, but I'm still super careful with my back and I'm always paranoid bending over for close ups and such! Either way I think there are a few decent shots of these dolls.

The Green Man can be found HERE

The Seagoddes can be found HERE

The Pink Goddess can be found HERE

I have one more that I am working on. I really hope soon I can get back to sculpting and more detailed dolls. I still have to photograph my finished Geisha/Hanya and show you all!
