Branches

What a huge time of transformation my family is going through. We lost another amazing woman this morning. My Great Aunt Hannah passed away in Vegas after fighting lung issues for years. The thing is those lung issues never seemed to stop her from being the strong, confident woman that she always was. She always knew exactly what she wanted and how to take charge and get it. My mother posseses a lot of these qualities also, it's perhaps why most of my life I've looked at her like she was a super hero! These are the type of women that some people have words for, titles for, complaints about, because they have the audacity not to be afraid to be who they are and to not allow the world to step on them because they are mere women. My mother taught me how to move my own furniture, how to use my own tools how not to wait around for someone else to do it for me. She also taught me that sometimes you just lead with your heart and your gut. I think this is the kind of woman Hannah was also. I didn't get to know her my whole life, but she will certainly have left a huge imprint on it.
